Dreary Day ◘ Pretty Fabric

The wind and snow have been blowing all day. It's hard to believe the day after tomorrow is spring. Despite 

the cold and overcast sky, flowers abound-- well maybe they're just printed on fabric but they make me 

smile. Here are some shots from my work space this morning. It's a little messy and chaotic but I know 

where everything is and its a comfortable place for me to think and create. I hope you are enjoying your

Self Improvement... maybe-- sorta

I don't know about you but I'm forever coming up with ways to change myself. I want to be a better, more productive person. Time slips by and I've not only neglected what I should do but I haven't even done what I'd like to. Goals are huge and, for me, writing them down is key. Can you believe, I actually forget my own goals? Writing them down and reading them every morning has made a big difference to my days and how I spend them. I also bought a planner and have started scheduling my week. Being self employed can result in interrupted work days. It's important to me to always be there for my friends and family. Dropping my work to give someone a ride of to have a cup of tea with my sisters is a privilege not many people have and I'm grateful. But it also means making to most of every day.
